This distribution, which I started to use after Arch, actually addresses more end users than arch..Dvd isolars can be downloaded with torrent but you do not need to read the document as much as arch to set up the system. If you do not want to make manual settings, you can use Slackware-based distributions. I guess it can't handle any linux slackware yet in terms of speed and stability. The reason for this condition may be that it is one of the oldest and provided linux distributions. The manufacturers have given particular importance to stability and simplicity. This feature is very like slackware gitti.geniş information from the home page and who do not speak English can learn from Turkey page.

The cons are using the wicd network connection program by default, which is not as functional as the networkmanager. Other than that, you may need to do the usb cd rom mountu manually, so this is troublesome from the command line.

Slackware-based deployments.

Kongoni GNU / Linux (desktop, free software): This South African distribution is slackware-based and stable, but I don't recommend it because it uses a unique repository package with the extension kng.

Linvo GNU / Linux (desktop with GNOME): In this derivative distribution of Bulgarian origin, it is using a new development plus Networkmanager, but not a very stable distribution.

Porteus (live CD with KDE or LXDE): They use wicd as derivative distributions.

Salix OS (desktop, live CD): They use wicd as derivative distributions.

VectorLinux (desktop): Apart from using wicd and using xfce, apart from the mount problem, I recommend you to try one of the most flashy and fast and stable and up-to-date distributions.

Zenwalk Linux (desktop): The slackware version of Vector linux, which is more simplified and ideal for older computers, with its own repositories and using outdated desktops
